IRELAND’S BEST SURF LODGE
This comfortable lodge is set 500 m from the beach in Bundoran, Ireland’s surf capital. It offers private and dormitory rooms, a free Wi-Fi zone and various adventure activities including surfing and horse riding.
Rooms at Rougey Lodge feature scenic sea views and all include an en suite bathroom and central heating. You can also relax in the guest lounge, which has a TV, a selection of movies and magazines.
A continental breakfast is included, and guests at Rougey Lodge can prepare meals in the kitchen, with various shops and bars within 5 minutes’ walk. The surf lodge also has BBQ facilities and holds regular theme nights.
Staff can organise activities including surfing, kayaking and golf, with Tullan Strand Beach and Bundoran Golf Club both within 10-15 minutes’ walk. The lodge also has bicycle rental and storage for surf equipment.
Rougey Lodge has free parking and is 6 km from Ballyshannon. Sligo is 30 minutes’ drive away.
