HOW TO GET HERE
Rougey Lodge is situated in Bundoran Co. Donegal, right along the Wild Atlantic Way.
We are located on the Main Street (East End) of the town, close to all amenities. The supermarket is next door to us (1 minute), ATM and off license sales are included, opening hours from 8AM – 10PM.
We are within walking distance to ALL beaches in Bundoran! Our sister company Bundoran SurfCo. is also a 1 minute walk, so you can get any equipment needed for the beach!
Rougey Lodge is a perfect stop off for anyone wanting to take a break from the hustle & bustle. Come surf, cycle, hike or just chill out with us!
GETTING HERE
Rougey Lodge is based in the town of Bundoran, Co. Donegal, on Ireland’s scenic North Western seaboard. There are many ways to get here including air, rail and road. For any further queries, you can always e-mail us!
FROM DUBLIN
Bundoran is a 3 hour drive from Dublin. If you are driving from Dublin take the N4 to Sligo, and then on to Bundoran, via the N15 from Sligo. You can also take the N3 from Dublin to Cavan and then on to Enniskillen and Bundoran. You can take the N3 or N4 exits from the M50 (Dublin’s main ring road).
Buseirann Busses run regularly from Dublin to Ballyshannon (Donegal service X30), which is just 4 miles from Bundoran, with bus connections. You can get the X30 (or 30) Bus from Dublin Airport to Ballyshannon or from the city centre bus terminal (Busáras).
ROUGEY RETURN BUS SERVICE
We are running return bus transfers from Dublin every weekend.
The bus leaves Dublin city center every Friday evening at 7pm and departs Bundoran every Sunday at 4pm. Book now!
FROM SLIGO
Sligo is just 25 miles away. Driving from Sligo to Bundoran takes about 30 minutes via the N15. It is a good road but can be busy.
There are buses from Sligo to Bundoran. You can get on the Galway to Derry Buseirann Coach (BUS 64), which passes through Bundoran. Get off at the East End stop (ask the driver) and we are just beside the stop.
FROM BELFAST
Bundoran is a 2.5 hour drive from Belfast. Take the M1 from the city and then the A4 to Enniskillen and on to Bundoran. You can also go via Omagh on the A5 and on to Kesh (A32), Belleek and Bundoran.
There are buses from Belfast to Bundoran, via Enniskillen.
