OUR CYCLING TOURS HAVE BEEN SET UP TO HELP PEOPLE TOUR AROUND OUR BEAUTIFUL LOCAL SITES WHILE STAYING IN TOUCH WITH NATURE.
We believe cycling should be accessible to everyone and so we are centrally located, have plenty of tips on hand to make sure you get the best out of your time with us and can offer different types of packages!
Mullaghmore is our premier spot and has it all as a cycling venue. The coastline here is one of the most scenic in all of Ireland and you will discover parts of the coast and views very few get to experience
Gleniff horse shoe
The Gleniff horseshoe is a nice 10 km loop along quiet roads with spectacular views and dramatic and wild Dartry Mountains. The walk also provides dramatic views of the Donegal Bay and the Ulster County beyond.
Our surfers say:
“a super laid back, social, local meeting point and at the same time a clean, tidy and organized hostel. Somehow they get the best work-awayers all the time and so the staff become more like friends and family. There is always hot water in the showers after a good cold water surf and always some backpackers on the couch to chat to. Thanks for the awesome time. “
“Very spacious, comfortable and friendly. Excellent facilities from the cool pizza oven to the most amazing couch you’ll ever have the pleasure of having a nap on! The staff are just great! – really helpful and will point you in the right direction for whatever you need. And if you happen to find yourself there on a Saturday night there’ll always be some kind of event or party bringing people together. Rougey Lodge have figured out how to do it and they do it so well!”
“One great and awesome hostel!! It is really clean and the stuff is super friendly! You feel, that you are at a surfers spot, as the other guests are also relaxed and and nice! Got a great time there with my friends and met a lot of new people! Definitely a place to go!”
