WE HAVE WEEK LONG SURF CAMPS FOR PEOPLE WHO REALLY WANT TO PUSH THEIR SURFING TO THE NEXT LEVEL.
The camps run over 5-7 days and the exact program will be determined by the surf conditions and the surfers abilities. We have packages with dorm rooms, private rooms.
The surf camp is open to everyone, with a maximum of 6 surfers per instructor. Surf camps run all year round so just let us know your dates and we can check the availability for you. We run the surf camp lessons at 10am every morning, our surf bus takes the surfers to the best beach for the surfers respective level. We return to the surf lodge for lunch. In the afternoon we have beach transfers and a guided rental for those that want to enjoy more water time.
We generally take the camp lessons at 10am each morning after breakfast in the surf lodge. We arrive back at the camp at lunch time. We can arrange a free surf in the afternoon if you want with over 60 boards to choose from. Or you can explore Bundoran and the local area. We can arrange lots of non surf excursions for people interested. We run a party BBQ every saturday.
The surf camps run all year and include the following:
– All equipment and instruction on surf lessons with our highly qualified instructors every morning
– Video analysis session (if conditions suitable)
– Accommodation and breakfast in Rougey Lodge
– Free use of lodge facilities including WiFi, Xbox360, Netflix
– BBQ on the saturday night
– Surf equipment rental

5 days Surf Camp : 5 nights and 5 surf lessons
-Private Bunk room (minimum 3) €299pps
-Private ensuite €350pps based on 2 sharing (single supplement 100)
7 days Surf Camp : 7 nights and 6 surf lessons
-Private Bunk room (minimum 3) €380 pps -Private ensuite €450pps based on 2 sharing (single supplement 140)
*The prices don’t include beach transfers however we can add this on for €50 for the week.
Typical day at the surf camp
830am-930am Continental Breakfast in the surf lodge
945am Meet the instructor and chat about conditions and boards for the day.
10am Get the wetsuit on in the surf camp changing rooms
10:15am Get in the Surf Bus heading for the beach. Generally we use Tullan Strand, Rossnowalgh and Streedagh. Each beach offers different styles of waves and work in different conditions
10:30am Arrive at the Beach with instructor. The instructor will generally do a short lesson/refresh on the beach explaining conditions before hitting the water
12:30 pm finish the surf lesson and head back to the surf lodge for lunch.
1pm Lunch at the surf lodge
2 pm In the afternoon we can organize a free surf by renting equipment or if you prefer you can go to play golf, take a SUP tour, go coasteering or just chill out.
If you want to you can check out Bundoran with the Main beach only 2 minutes walk from the Surf camp. You can check out the magnificent Rougey Walk and Tullan Strand to the North or head south and check out the natural bathing pools, west end coastal walk that lead the whole way to the Drowes River on the Leitrim/Donegal border. If you hire a bike Mullaghmore/Horse Shoe is well worth a trip.
6 pm and later: Bundoran is full of nightlife for those that want to socialize or you can decide just to relax. Generally we run a BBQ every saturday at 7pm.
